    Memorial Day Parade

    History of Parade:
    Founded by Marvin Atherton, the Dacula Memorial Day parade has been a proud tradition in Dacula since 1994. The parade has grown over the years and remains the only Memorial Day parade in Metro Atlanta, largest in the the state of Georgia and one of the largest in our nation with more than 150 units participating in the parade each year!
    Parade Route:
    The parade begins at Hebron Baptist Church and proceeds down Dacula Road, turns right on Second Ave, crosses Broad Street and ends at Dacula High School.

    State GOP Convention

    Georgia Republican Party State Convention 2017

    The Georgia Republican Party State Convention will convene at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017, in Augusta, Georgia, for the purposes of adopting the Rules of the Georgia Republican Party, of electing the Officers of the Georgia Republican Party and conducting all other necessary business.

    Time:  2:00pm Convention will convene.

    Cost: to cover the cost of the State GOP Convention.
