Get a Congressional Update at Our August Breakfast

by Gwinnett GOP
Rob Woodall

At our breakfast on Saturday, August 4th, we’ll learn about the latest goings-on in Congress from 7th District Congressman Rob Woodall. With the House and Senate at home for the August Break District Work Period, there are only 13 legislative days scheduled prior to the November elections.

We’ll find out what the House is working on, and what they expect to pass during the remainder of the year.

Rob Woodall was elected in November, 2010 to fill John Linder’s 7th District seat following Congressman Linder’s retirement. He serves on the Budget and Rules committees in the House, and is the primary sponsor of the FairTax. Beginning in 2013, his district will shift north and west, to include much of Forsyth County, along with the majority of Gwinnett County.

Doors open for the breakfast at 7:45 AM, and the meeting begins at 8:30. You can enjoy a full buffet breakfast for $8, or juice and coffee for $2. Our breakfasts are held at 550 Trackside, 550 North Clayton Street in Lawrenceville.

We had hoped to have Congressman Tom Graves speak at this month’s breakfast, however a scheduling conflict will keep him from attending. We hope to schedule Congressman Graves to appear sometime in the near future.

RSVP for the breakfast on Facebook.

This month’s breakfast is sponsored by Martinelli Investigations.
