Celebrate this Memorial Day at the Gwinnett GOP Barbecue

Join the Gwinnett County Republican Party on Monday, May 31st for our annual Barbecue and Memorial Day observance. The GOP will be marching in the Dacula Parade beginning at 10 AM, and after the parade we’ll gather at the Dacula High School commons area for barbecue, politics, a straw poll and and an observance in remembrance of the soldiers who have served our country.

Confirmed gubernatorial candidates include Nathan Deal, Karen Handel and John Oxendine.
7th District candidates attending include Clay Cox, Chuck Efstration and Rob Woodall. Other candidates attending include Gary Black, Garry Guan and David Casas. We expect additional candidates to confirm they are attending later this week.

Event Schedule:
Noon (or after Parade): Doors Open.
1 PM: Memorial Day Observance, featuring guest speaker Gen. William J Livsey, Jr.
1:45 PM – 3:15 PM: Barbecue served by Williamson Brothers.
2 PM – 4 PM: Speeches from Republican Gubernatorial Candidates, Seventh District House of Representative Candidates and Candidates for State and local offices.

$10 Barbecue tickets can be purchased online. You may also purchase tickets at the door.
